MotoGuides was a motorcycle travel marketplace and booking system which connected travelers with motorcycle guides and trips around the world. The platform allowed travelers to find or request motorcycle trips from knowledgeable guides and companies, while also providing marketing and transaction services to operators who are focused on the offline experience.
Built a database of 545 operators using a custom scraper, arranged press coverage of website launch on UltimateMotorcycling.com (35,000visitors/day) and secured a brand mention in the August 2nd, 2015 issue of the Los Angeles Times, designed and managed sales pipeline, closed 10 deals
Advlo was founded in early 2014 with the mission of connecting travelers and locals to facilitate authentic adventure travel experiences. Advlo features a robust backend system that allows locals to showcase their activities, take online bookings, and process payments through a central dashboard. I was not a member of the founding team, but jumped on the team in early 2014 as the head of marketing, with a focus on lead generation and social media marketing.
